Southend Sub-Aqua Club BSAC 22
Welcome to the website for Southend Sub-Aqua Club BSAC 22. Our club was formed in 1955 and since then its members have dived all over the UK and around the world.
We carry out regular day diving trips from ports on the south coast with easy access to the many wrecks and reefs found in that area. We also venture to locations such as the Farne Islands and Scapa Flow for longer trips.
For training and refreshing rusty dive skills we use inland dive sites but we also have access to a 5m deep pool for new skills development. See the diving courses page for ful details of the scuba training available through the club as part of your BSAC membership.
If you qualified with another agency you can easily transfer your certification to BSAC. Our training officer will be happy to arrange refresher training if you have not dived recently.

Southend on Sea Sub Aqua Club over 60 years of diving with BSAC
In 2015 our club celebrated 60 years as a member of BSAC. To mark this anniversary a party was held in our clubhouse with current and former club members in attendance. In recognition of our sixty years of membership BSAC issued the club with the certificate below.
