Try Dive.

The introductory sessions take place at the pool where you will be looked after by an experienced diver, all you need is a swimming costume and an old T-shirt and to be medically fit.

All diving equipment, for your initial session is provided, including Aqualung, Mask, Snorkel, Weights and Fins.

The cost of each session is £5, this covers the cost of pool hire, air and equipment.

Membership.

The cost of full membership changes over the first three years.

Year 1: £200.00

Year 2: £135.00

Year 3: £95.00

These varied costs reflect the amount of training require in the early years, use of the pool and equipment and some initial training materials.

The fee also includes subscription to BSAC's monthly "Dive" magazine, use of the clubhouse on a Wednesday and Public Liability Insurance which covers you on any Club diving activities.

Abated membership is available for the second member of a household, this reduces the yearly cost by £15 but does not include the "Dive" magazine.
